The modern Nordic furniture brand MINT Furniture will participate in the annual highlight of the London Design Festival, the uK’s largest and most well-known trade event for architects and designers, 100% Design London. It will take place 21-24 september at olympia London, located in the heart of the capital.
MINT Furniture was founded in 2009 by two designers – Janis rauza and Ieva Andzane, of North european origin, where historically the design core values are functionality and natural aesthetics. What started as creation of custom-designed bespoke items has now grown into a remarkable brand, while maintaining the uniqueness and adding a personal touch to every piece made at MINT Furniture factory.
MINT Furniture covers all essential living areas, from the dining room to the bedroom, starting with the iconic screw stool to the more recent elegant cabinets and chairs of Black edition. All of the above will be shown at 100% Design London, where MINT Furniture for the third time will be among the world’s finest designers exhibiting theyr newest creations. Also, during the event the new MINT Furniture catalogue will be launched, that is a visual compilation of everything that the company has accomplished until now.
MINT Furniture highly values ease and authenticity. simplicity of the shape, sculptural lightness of the design and easy installation as well as high quality of the materials have always been company’s signature. However, the goal of the exhibition in London is not merely to display the company’s recent performance, but also to present designers’ vision for future interior trends and give visitors a taste of what tomorrow’s modern home might look like. With the Black edition MINT Furniture is moving towards the classics and proven values, without losing modernity and passion for sustainable design and natural materials.
Designers of MINT Furniture believe that black is not a trend — it is an eternal statement of style that stands for sophistication and timeless elegance. In this statement some might see similarities with the iconic little black dress, and if we continue to look for parallels in the fashion world, Details magazine in 2010, said some very apt words about MINT Furniture.
“The seating equivalent of Skinny Jeans. Simultaneously minimal and inviting, this is furniture that goes with everything.”
Monica Khemsurov, Details magazine
MINT Furniture ships worldwide, but the largest range of products onsite can be seen in the recently opened Nordic design concept store Design Mind in Hague, Netherlands (Noordeinde 87g, 2514gD, Den Haag, The Netherlands), which fuses vitality and style of urban culture with the ease of country living.
